| Agilent recommends using PTFE/silicone septa for most headspace applications under 180 degrees Celsius. The PTFE lining provides and excellent barrier between the silicone and the solvent. Our septa are specially designed to provide minimal contamination of the headspace sample. | ||

| Agilent does not recommend storage or elevated storage temperatures when using volatile compounds because over time the septa material may be transferred into the sample. | ||
