Chlorinated solvents can damage most septa material. A PTFE "sandwiched" silicone septa provides excellent resealabilty. The PTFE will prevent the septa from coming in contact with the solvent. An alterative would be a PTFE lined solid cap, but it will not reseal once punctured. |
