The solvent you are using is not compatible with silicone. Because you are not doing repeat injections from the same vial, a PTFE-lined solid top is a good option. This septa is recommended only for single injection methods. |
An alternative would be the PTFElined red rubber. Red rubber is compatible with the solvents you are using and provides moderate resealability. It is also not recommended for retention of samples for further analysis. |
